About Us:
We are a software engineer (Luke) and art therapist and stay at home mother (Alison) blogging team. In November 2016, we found out we would be receiving the biggest promotion of our lives. We were going to be parents in July 2017. It has been a privilege to welcome our little man into our lives, along with our first baby, our golden retriever. We have since had our second baby in 2022.
After using up our maternity leave and paternity leave and sending our baby to childcare for a month. We decided we did not want strangers spending more time with our baby than we do. Alison has since stayed at home with our now two boys.
We decided to homeschool our eldest who has just become the age where he could go to school. Our plan is to do this while it works, learning and teaching along the way.

This blog is a way to honor the experiences of being both a father and a mother while also being a parenting team. We enjoy tackling most aspects of life as a duo, and parenting is no different. We applied this logic to our blog and never looked back. We hope the information here is helpful to parents, no matter what your family or personal situation looks like.
